Long Croft C was built in 1888 and this project restored the front to its former glory while adding a touch of modern style to the rear.

One of the unique features of this property is the basement that sits below what is now garden and paved areas. To make this work without compromising Myles Baldwyn’s superb design (or structural integrity) and maximising depth of soil, we worked closely with the builder, architect and structural engineers.

The result: you would never know there was a basement below the captivating outdoor space.
